Divider Line Certification

Don’t Delay! June 30th will be here sooner than you think! Is your certificate going to expire in 2013?

Please check the expiration date on your current certificate(s). If your expiration date is June 30, 2013, you should be currently working towards the maintenance required to renew the certificate(s). If you have met the requirements already, you may renew now without penalty. Don’t wait! Earlier is always better!

If you do not meet the requirements and/or do not submit your application to an ESD or online with OSPI on or before June 30, 2013, your certificate will lapse or expire. To avoid any additional requirements and fees, please submit your application prior to the expiration date printed on your certificate.

Arts Foundations Summer Institute

Arts Impact

August 5-9, 2013
Register now for the Arts Impact: Arts Foundations Summer Institute, hosted by Broadway Center for the Performing Arts and Tacoma Art Museum. The Summer Institute is followed by a one-on-one mentorship with an Artist Mentor in your classroom, as well as ongoing PD workshops during the year.

Clock hours or university credit are offered for this transformative experience.

ELL Endorsement/Certificate Program

Puget Sound ESD and Seattle University College of Education are joining together to offer an exciting new English Language Learner Endorsement and Certificate Program at the university. The innovative, affordable program is designed to meet where you are. All classroom assignments will focus on your personal and professional goals. If you are seeking the ELL Endorsement, your class assignments will be applicable to a K-12 classroom. If you are seeking a TESOL Certificate, your assignments will be tailored to your career path. Classes begin in June and January. More information available on the Seattle University website.

Data Coaching provides tools and resources for educators seeking to improve the use of data and inquiry in their particular context. Data coaching services are available to school-level, grade-level, or discipline centered teams, as well as coalitions, collaborations, and community based organizations.
