Somehow I missed this announcement back in December but the Panatone “Color of the Year” for 2011 is Honeysuckle — “A bright, sherberty pink, uplifting and optimistic, and also evoking nostalgic feelings of summertime”.

Just in time — summer started yesterday. I see this color throughout my neighborhood flowerbeds in the roses, peonies and petunias.
